I stayed here last week. I guess I shouldn't have expected much considering my room was free, but I was quite disappointed. My room was on the third floor with a view of the HVAC units on top of the second floor, and lots of City Center construction. That was my entire view, no mountains, no other hotels, very little sky. It was also very noisy. The maids were shouting to each other up and down the hall all morning as I was trying to sleep, and I could hear every word of the argument, and the making up, of the couple next door. Most of the room was clean, however, the tub was in serious need of recaulking, and the room just felt very rundown.

On the other hand, all the staff I encountered was very friendly and professional. Although, it would've been helpful if the "invited guest check-in" guy had told me to go to the Cashier instead of the Player's Club to get my promo chips. That was 15 minutes of waiting in line that I didn't much appreciate just to wait 5 more in another line.

I doubt that I'll be staying there again.

Stayed here just a couple weeks ago. I shared a room with a friend and found a pretty good deal on one with two beds. It was a decent room for the price, and I'd look into staying at the Monte Carlo again.

The casino isn't as large as I initially expected it to be, and there wasn't anything fancy about it. However, they had your standard fare of table and slot games, and the casino felt clean and well-kept.

The dealers seemed to be hit-or-miss on personality, and there were a couple occasions where I left one blackjack table to move to another for a more personable dealer.

The poker room is small, and they have a few tournaments per day. I couldn't tell if there were any cash games going on, but if you're not staying at the Monte Carlo, there are better poker rooms around.

There were plenty of cocktail waitresses running around, and I never found myself without a beverage while playing at the casino.

Overall, I'd definitely recommend a stay here. For the price, we couldn't beat it, and it provides extremely easy access to the strip.
